Nottingham Freelance Web Designer and SEO Consultant

If you’ve searched the web looking for a web designer or company worthy of your website or business needs you’ll no doubt have found an overwhelming amount of choice – so much choice in fact that a search on Google for ‘web design’ can return a fair few million results!

At 25 years old and with a passion for all things web related I’ve seen a large number of company and business websites, from the down right awful to the totally awesome! In the majority of cases, business and company websites fail because they are simply out of date and do not conform to the latest web design technologies and techniques – this can lead to loss of visitors and ultimately loss of sales as well as poor rankings in the search engines!

My view and approach to my work is to think ‘Outside the Box’ to create a clean, unique and user friendly experience for your website visitors; producing a creative, professional and memorable website.

Today, it has been realised that Michael Thorn or more specifically this website, is now seen by Google as being an authority website. For some while a number of 'SiteLinks' have appeared in my Google Webmasters account indicating that Google (for some unknown reason) feels that my site holds authority over the majority of other sites.

Site links can be seen by doing a good search (in this case) for the term 'Michael Thorn'. You'll notice on doing this search that a number of mini sub pages appear under the initial result in the SERPs - this links (to internal pages within the site) are known as SiteLinks and are usually a indication that Google has given the site in question a level of authority.

Again, i'm not really sure why i've gained this amasing position, however i'm definately not complaining!
